I posted this at sbb... but I think I'm going to start posting my layouts here more as well. Backstory on this layout... This past March my cousin passed away from a drug overdose. This news was very hard for me to deal with. We were extremely close as kids. It still perplexes me how one can go from being so fresh and innocent and full of potential to relying on the aid of drugs just to function. I miss him. A lot. This page really helped in my process of grieving. And with that, I leave you with the page.

It's beautiful, Lauren. I think you may have inspired me to do a page about my grandfather, finally, after a year and a half.

Wow...I am so sorry about your cousin. This layout is beautiful. At least you have some great memories to hold onto. And I agree that scrapbooking can be so theraputic.

Lovely, and thankyou for that beautiful episode on this earth. heaven is watching. xx
I had a friend who died of an overdose, I couldn't bear it that he got that lost, and drifted away in that way. I felt shocked to the point of weakness & illness, you know you feel when someone you know's life is wasted.
This sums it up beautifully. Well done for speaking out.

The LO is beautiful Lauren in every way. What a sweet photo. LOVE what you did with the painted swash and the heart. Such a sweet touch. It all seems perfectly appropriate for the thoughts and feelings behind the LO.
Miss talkin' to ya. Hope everything's going great. I'll have to give ya a call maybe tonight so we can catch up. :)
